hellovagina: I hadn’t understood how days could be both long and short at the same time: long to live through, maybe, but so drawn out that they ended up flowing into one another. They lost their names. Only ‘yesterday’ and ‘tomorrow’ still had any meaning for me. — Albert Camus, The Stranger

Compose a gratuitous and veritable plethora of verbose verbiage. Show how obsequious, ostentatious, and obtuse you can be. Make us scuttle unceremoniously to the dictionary, furtively hiding our gormlessness. Besmirch us and bedraggle our...

The music fades when shilling is the motive →
Perhaps it’s too 20th century to hope that music could stay exempt from multitasking, or that the constant insinuation of marketing into every moment of consciousness would stop when a song begins. Interesting commentary on how music licensing may be affecting the creation of music. Something to think about.

List of English Reduplicatives →
wordjournal: Reduplication is a morphological process by which the root or stem of a word, or part of it, is repeated. Examples of reduplication: hoity-toity, Joe Schmoe, hip-hop, chit-chat, and no-no. This list sorts them into the following types: Type I are rhyming pairs, Type II are ablaut pairs (the vowel changes and consonants remain unchanged), and Type III are total reduplications.

omnialx: (The words in bold were actually underlined but some bug in Tumblr makes it so underlining doesn’t show up in the dashboard so I put them in bold) Not truly happy. I find artificial happiness being in front of a screen and even though I find real happiness sometimes there too I spend too much time on it instead of some of the other things that make me truly happy.
